As is common these days, I first saw the trailer for this flick during another one. Sometime last year - who knows when. I was immediately intrigued by the relatively original concept. The initial idea was automatically reminiscent of Superman, but theirs is a different story. Nine extraterrestrial children are sent to Earth to escape the demise of their planet. Or rather, in the case of Lorien, their species' extinction at the hands of a vicious race known as the Mogadorians. Each of the Lorien children are sent with a guardian to protect them, should the Mogadorians track them down. John can only be killed in order, due to a charm each have. This is meant to protect them. Not having much luck... After number three's murder, John's guardian, Henri, takes them to Paradise, in Ohio, to take care of some things.
